Howell Creative Group Adds Flair to CASA Blue Elephant Affair

Howell Creative Group designed a whimsical Blue Elephant logo for Colonial CASA’s big spring event, A Blue Elephant Affair. This “marvelous marketplace” event helped recognize National Child Abuse Awareness Month and further the work of Colonial CASA in our area.
“Colonial CASA’s call to arms for this event was ‘Do Something Blue,’ and we had a great time fulfilling that request!” said Kathy Howell, president and creative director. Once the design was finished, Howell placed the Blue Elephant logo on tickets, a program cover, an information card and event signs.

Howell Creative Group Recognized for Two Builder-related Design Awards

Williamsburg, VA. Howell Creative Group of New Town was recently praised by two regional homebuilders associations for creating award-winning branding packages.
The Peninsula Housing and Builders Association presented Charles Ross Homes with an award for Best Logo Design. Howell redesigned the Williamsburg-based builder's corporate identity, creating the logo as well as a full-color homes portfolio featuring renderings and floor plans of 18 designs developed by Charles Ross Homes.
"We're a residential design/build company and wanted our logo to be an architectural element that combined both form and function," said Tim Cleary, managing director of Charles Ross Homes. "We agreed on a cupola design and the team at Howell Creative Group developed it into a logo we're really excited about."
The second award, for Best Community Brochure, was presented to Bel Arbor Builders of Richmond, Virginia. Howell designed the brochure, which introduced the builder's new community, Bel Crest, in Powhatan County.
"I think the brochure really captures the old-world feel of the Bel Crest community," said Joe Hill, president of Bel Arbor Builders. "The team at Howell Creative Group turned out a very effective product for us."
