13 Sep Howell Creative Group Kicks-off United Way Day of Caring
On Thursday, September 9, Howell Creative Group (pictured) got a jump-start on the United Way Day of Caring officially scheduled for September 15. The Howell team volunteered at the Grove Christian Outreach “Back to School” event aimed at providing needed school supplies to neighborhood youngsters.
This is the ninth straight year that Howell has participated in the festive Grove event, one of 40 different Day of Caring projects served by approximately 500 area volunteers.
If you are interested in participating in Wednesday’s Day of Caring, volunteers are still needed for many various activities around the Williamsburg area, from light yard work or filing to designing and painting creative paths for children’s outdoor fun.
