25 Jan Kathy Howell Honored with 2016 Women in Business Award
Kathy Howell, President & Creative Director of Howell Creative Group, was honored with a 2016 Women in Business Achievement Award by Inside Business Journal. Each year the program recognizes outstanding women for significant contributions as businesswomen, mentors and volunteers across Hampton Roads. A panel of judges evaluates nominees for the positive impact they create in our region as leaders and advocates for other women.Kathy Howell has operated Williamsburg-based marketing firm Howell Creative Group for over three decades. She contributes to her community immensely and has served on Boards for Historic Virginia Land Conservancy, United Way and Virginia Living Museum including a term as president. She volunteers at Eastern State Hospital, Wellspring United Methodist Church and Grove Christian Outreach Center. She is a Lead Historic Triangle graduate and was recently nominated and accepted into the CIVIC Leadership Institute. Kathy resides in Williamsburg with her husband Mark and their two fur-babies.
Kathy received her award at a banquet at Norfolk’s Waterside Marriott, December 12.
